Dropfleet Commander Update News

Following a longer period than we would have ever liked, the Dropfleet Commander 2-Player starter is returning to stock.

Welcome to this week’s Teaser Tuesday article and we’re happy to say that the Dropfleet Commander 2-Player Starter is returning to the TTCombat store this Friday. It’s quite a big thing and we’ve made more than a couple of changes to go along with it. Because of this, we can happily say that we’ve reached Dropfleet Commander edition 1.5! Besides a brand new rulebook, new single-piece ship sculpts and a new starter box, we’ll have some rule updates and an FAQ to release.

Please welcome Dropfleet Commander 1.5 edition.

Dropfleet Commander 2-Player Starter Box

Beautiful isn’t it! Containing everything you need to get started in the world of Dropfleet Commander, you’ll join the fight for humanity or the dreaded Scourge. Commanding fleets of colossal warships, you’ll be thrust into strategic naval battles above a war-torn planet. Returning fans will notice the updated alternative sculpt ships and the brand new compact Dropfleet Commander rulebook.

Speaking of new rulebooks…

Dropfleet Commander Rulebook

160 years ago humanity was evicted from their home, invaded by the terrifying Scourge. A parasitic race determined to capture or kill every living being, they overwhelmed mankind’s defences. Then they committed the most heinous act… They stopped us from restocking the Battle For Earth book! Sadly this book has been out of stock longer than we anticipated. Ultimately it was more viable to create this compact a5 Rulebook full of the most up-to-date core rules.

This does mean Battle For Earth will not be returning in a physical format, but there is good news. Launching today we have a huge PDF document with the original Dropfleet Commander lore and the best part is, it’s FREE! Additionally, our team is working hard on converting the lore from BFE into a second free digital download document. This will arrive next year.

That’s it for today! If your a running an event or a store that stocks TTCombat products, make sure you reach out and we’ll feature you on Sunday Spotlight or nous Social Media Channels.

Finally, If you have a project you want to start or add to your tabletop setup. Then make sure you head over to the TTCombat webstore for a wide range of miniatures and scenery. If you have anything of ours that you’d like to see featured as a Monday Motivation post. Please send us some photos to info@ttcombat.com
