We do love a bank holiday so why not keep the long weekend good vibes going with a Monday Motivation post to read whilst the nation chills for a day?
For this week’s edition, we wanted to highlight the amazing work of Silvia who painted up a set of Queens of the Adriatic. Way back in 2021 we had a message off an Instagram account we’d never heard of before, ‘Followtheblacksheep’. Silvia was a big Carnevale fan and offered to paint for us so of course, we took the Mick and sent her the Queens.
As you’ll be able to see Silvia is extremely talented and we’re of course thrilled to see the results. We loved that she applied the style of painting we’d seen in her previous work with other companies’ miniatures.
The water bases beneath the Female Capodecia, Magi – Rashaar and Venetian Noble look fantastic and really add to the final package. All the miniatures share one common trait. I’ll give you a minute to look at these images again an see if you can spot it…. Do you see it? YES! Its the glowing eyes. Now while traditionally painted eyes are certainly cool but these glowing pupils are perfect for Carnevale.
Whilst we’re always a fan of people copying the colour schemes chosen by us for our miniatures we want the community to have fun! Therefore if you want your Strigoi to wear a blue dress then go for it. Silvia’s noble Strigoi looks amazing and we really liked that now the only red on the minature is the blood of her dinner. The Doctor of the mind looks sinister as always but my favorite has to be vicious Inquisitor. Have you seen her green flames! They are illuminating her face.
Thanks for all your hard work Silvia! We’ve got some more products on the way to you.
