Monday Motivation – Carnevale Venetian Quarter

This weeks Monday Motivation is supported by the Peterborough Wargames Club who have shared their amazing Carnevale MDF Board with us.

Peter, Rob and the rest of their club have gone above and beyond to create a board which any Carnevale player would be ecstatic to deploy their forces to do battle upon. The use of bright pinks, whites and blues on the MDF buildings such as the Casa Elizabeta, Dimora Justina and Palazzo Lucia have really allowed the guys to make this Venetian Quarter truly spectacular.

This board benefits from a great level of detail applied to the water which has received so much attention. The rippling blues are highlighted by the decaying Jetties and crumbling brickwork which even has a mossy finish. I also love the Gondola gliding across the waters surface as it approaches the arching bridge.

The quality of painting isn’t reserved just for the MDF buildings however as the guys have also painted up the miniatures available from the Carnevale 2 players starter set, to a very nice standard. The towering Rashaar Raadru looks great with its darker than usual tones which makes it really stand out when on such a vibrant board!

Thanks for sharing this with everyone GUYS! If you have a project you want to start or add to your table top setup, make sure you head over to the TTCombat webstore for a wide range of miniatures and scenery. If you have anything of ours that you’d like to see featured as a Monday Motivation post, please send us some photos to info@ttcombat.com.
