Monday Motivation – Carnevale MDF Kitbash

Its the last day of the month so why not say goodbye to February with one final Monday Motivation? Yeah we to thought this would be a perfect idea. Following the previous weeks South Pacific Flame article, we thought a return to Venice was in order.

An architect by the name of Paul Dent (might not actually be an architect) shared his latest creation with us after our design team spotted his work over social media. Paul decided that his Venetian Quarter was missing a little something, maybe a giant Venetian Church? Assembled from a City Supreme Courthouse, a Chisea Di San Paternian and a Sci-Fi Gothic Scriptorium. Perhaps Paul has been touched by the Rent and its evil greenish light.

Firstly the Large central chamber began life as the now discontinued, Supreme Courthouse. Additionally the raised platform, arches, and stairs are all from this kit. The large tiled roof is a great addition to the Courthouse and fits perfectly with the Venetian buildings already available via the TTCombat store.

Secondly we loved the conversion taken place by Paul who has donated the Chisea Di San Paternian to form the side section of this church. By cutting the kit in half, Paul has crafted extended chambers to the central hall. Additionally the large arched windows add a close match to those present on the courthouse.

Finally the churches majestic rear and rounded top have come from the Sci-fi Gothic Scriptorium. The round raised roof looks fantastic in the iron grey colour tones and you can even see the original Scriptorium door being used as a second entrance. However, it would be critical to emphasis Paul’s creations key feature… the lights.

Thanks to installed leds and panels placed in the window frames, the Church comes to life and would be an amazing experience to play a game of Carnevale by church light.

Thanks for sharing this with us Paul! If you have a project you want to start or add to your tabletop setup. Then make sure you head over to the TTCombat webstore for a wide range of miniatures and scenery. If you have anything of ours that you’d like to see featured as a Monday Motivation post. Please send us some photos to info@ttcombat.com
