It’s time for the first Monday Motivation of June 22 and for today’s article we’re taking a look at a Carnevale 2-Player starter box.
Firstly we want to thank everyone who came to this year’s UK Games Expo as it was great to see so many TTCombat fans in one place. We’re still selling event-exclusive miniatures on the TTCombat store so if you couldn’t pick up that popular 32mm Scourge Warrior or the Abnomaly fear not! Just click here.
Today’s article is made possible by the hard work of Stuart (ThatMrShy) who recently created an unboxing video around the Carnevale 2-Player starter. You can find this video below:
Stuart is going to be covering more Carnevale and other TTCombat games soon so make sure you keep an eye on his channels for new content. Besides being a loud personality, Stuart is a great painter and was kind enough to send us over some pictures of his WIPs.
Starting with his Lesser Ugdru, it’s great to see this Rashaar cannon fodder looking so sharp. The blues look vibrant and the shift in tone from his central flesh tones out to the blues has been blended well.
The Miniatures
Secondly, Stuart has started to paint up the Guilds Citizens which are coming along beautifully! The Male Citizen looks regal with his broken cane and streak of grey running through his hair. The scar running across his face stands out and the darker tones help draw the eye to the disfiguration. However, the female lamp barer wins the show. Her green and purple color scheme is certainly out of the ordinary for the Guild and the glow from her lamp is amazing. If you look closely you’ll be able to see the change in tones around her arms and hip where the burning light hits the miniature.
Thanks for sharing this with us Stuart! Please keep us up to date on all things TTCombat & Carnevale.
Before we finish, many people have noticed that previously unavailable Event Miniatures have returned! The Classic Morgraur has now sold out however the recently returned Plague Doctress is available so don’t miss out! Seriously this miniature hasn’t been around for years and is only back for a short time…
If you have a project you want to start or add to your tabletop setup. Then make sure you head over to the TTCombat webstore for a wide range of miniatures and scenery. If you have anything of ours that you’d like to see featured as a Monday Motivation post. Please send us some photos to info@ttcombat.com
