Following a busy weekend at Salute we are right back to work with a new Monday Motivation post to start the week. This weeks edition is a nod to the very inventive Sam Short who has destroyed one of our kits.
With the temperature falling each week, Sam has decided to take us to a desert wreckage where our towering ‘Freighter Graveyard – Crane‘ lies in pieces. We love it when customers run wild with their ideas for our kits and Sam has been more than inventive. Taking a large scale MDF and bashing it into 4 pieces of scenery is brilliant.
Starting with the paint job. Sam has done a fantastic job with weathering the materials. This is a really nice touch which helps to bring the crane remains and desert floor sections together. Additionally I love how Sam has applied some damage/scorch marks around the broken joins.
We’re grateful to Sam for taking some close up pictures. This allows us to really how off the sections such as the broken railings and buried chains. My personal favourite section is the scorched protruding legs which have scattered sections filling the gaps between them.
Thanks for sharing this with us Sam! If you have a project you want to start or add to your tabletop setup, make sure you head over to the TTCombat webstore for a wide range of miniatures and scenery. If you have anything of ours that you’d like to see featured as a Monday Motivation post, please send us some photos to info@ttcombat.com.
