Dave is back with some BIG news.
The commander universe is filled with horrendous scenes of death, despair, and Pungari. For years now we’ve brought your epic-scale battlefields filled with highly detailed 10mm miniatures in Dropzone Commander. Yet, many of you and everyone here at TTCombat are excited for more wargaming fun with Striketeam Commander. The game has been in active development throughout this year and now Dave is back to provide an update.
As Dave has outlined, Striketeam Commander has now split into two separate but linked games. We’ll breakdown the key aspects of each game below,
Striketeam Commander
- Interior game
- 5-10 miniatures required
- Shorter games
- Less terrain
- Tactical room clearance
Battlezone Commander
- Exterior game
- 20-40 miniatures per army
- Usable vehicles
- More terrain
- Focused on infantry combat
Infantry miniatures will be cross compatible between both games with a Dropzone units being incorporated into the 28-32mm scale. Miniatures will be highly detailed with Dave focusing on adding additional details to upscaled vehicles from Dropzone.
Currently we’re working towards delivering both games on a single Kickstarter towards the end of February. We’ll be back before that time with further updates about these exciting games.
