The might of the Ottoman Sultan has arrived in Venice…
At this point in Carnevale it shouldn’t be a surprise that the Patricians have hired more Ottoman forces. Always reluctant to spill their own noble blood, the Venetian bourgeoisie let others fight for them. It was during blood on the water that the Ottoman’s first arrived in the floating city and now more have arrived.
Ottoman Discipline
The latest Carnevale miniatures gang box has arrived! Hoping to combat the unorganised troops previously deployed, the mighty Sultan has sent a ruthless Chorbaji to enact his will. We’re thrilled to say that you’ll FINALLY be able to assemble a full Ottoman gang with an Ottoman leader. Armed with a Flanged Mace, this character has the ability to Knockback opponents. Yet, the reason you’ll wanna take this leader in your gang is his Pulse Command Ability. ALL friendly characters with the Ottoman keyword within 3” (including this one) gain First Strike (2) until the end of the round.
Sturdy and reliable, the Janissary Sapper and Battle Axe wielder are reliable gang heroes. Whilst the battle axe may look more intimidating we’d recommend avoiding the sappers black powder grenade at all cost! With a range of 6” and +2 damage you’ll want to avoid being in its blast area. Better yet, the ‘Black Powder Arrows’ ability means the any friendly Ottoman Archer within 3” of this character may use its Black Powder Grenade as if it were their own when making a Combat action.
