We’re not sure what the Scourge’s goal is in the Galaxy besides infecting more and more species with their neuro-parasitic offspring. However, this task will be a lot easier thanks to a new Wyvern.

Welcome to this week’s WIP Wednesday and we’ve got an awesome new ship sculpt to reveal today. Dave Lewis has spent some time getting this sculpt the way he wanted and decided to move away from the previous Scourge Cruiser sculpt we’re used to seeing. Whilst we don’t have a release date for this miniature, we had to show it off after the prototype was painted.

Scourge Wyvern

The Scourge Wyvern has had a make over since its initial release. Sharing more similarities with the Akuma/Banshee in design and style, David decided to remove some of the flowing fins from the original. Additionally, in a similar fashion to the New Rio, this is a single piece ship and can be used out of the box.

Now we should make it clear that this is just an updated sculpt we’ve been working on and won’t be replacing the existing plastic cruiser kit. The new Wyvern shares all the same rules/stats of the previous iteration and is designed to add a bit of variety to your Scourge fleet. We look forward to revealing more details & information when we get closer to a finished product.
